Section-based layout, one signed Amount column
Bank of America prints no single ledger. Activity is broken into labeled sections, each with its own Amount column and total, so the plus or minus is implied by the section rather than a column.

Multi-line descriptions
Wire and ACH entries wrap across two to four lines, spilling TRN, SEQ, ORIG, and sending-bank details below the amount. Docubrew rejoins the wrapped lines into one description per transaction.

Multi-account and combined statements
A single Bank of America PDF can carry more than one linked account. Docubrew writes each account as its own block, with its own account-and-period header, so nothing is flattened together.

Card-account sub-block on business statements

Every page repeats the account holder and period alongside marketing panels and disclosure inserts, and sections carry "continued" markers. Docubrew filters these and rejoins split sections.

How is this different from other bank statement converters?
Docubrew offers both a desktop app for local processing and an encrypted cloud option. Many converters are cloud-only, and others make you choose desktop or cloud up front. If you need control over where each client's data is processed, that per-job flexibility matters.
Can I convert several Bank of America statements at once?

Does Docubrew handle Bank of America's section-based deposits and withdrawals layout?
Yes. Bank of America splits activity into labeled sections, Deposits and other additions, ATM and debit card subtractions, Other subtractions, Service fees, and on business accounts a Checks section, each with its own Date, Description, and Amount columns and its own total, so the plus or minus comes from the section rather than a separate column. Docubrew reads each section, reassembles multi-line descriptions, drops the repeated page headers and the daily-balance summary, and outputs a clean CSV with Date, Description, Deposits, and Withdrawals columns. When a statement combines multiple linked accounts, each account is written as its own block.
Does Bank of America let you download statements as CSV?
Not from the statement itself. Bank of America's formatted monthly statements download only as PDF from Statements & Documents. Separately, you can export recent transaction activity from the Activity view as Microsoft Excel, Quicken (QFX), or QuickBooks (QBO), but that is an activity file rather than the statement, and it covers only recent periods. To turn the actual PDF statement, including older ones, into clean CSV, run it through Docubrew.
