Getting Started
How to install Docubrew
Docubrew installs in under a minute on Windows 10 and 11. There is nothing to configure and no account needed to try it.
On a Mac? The desktop app is Windows-only. If a Mac app matters to you, email support@docubrew.com and let us know. In the meantime, use the web version instead.
Removing the App

Version History
App version downloads
Three recent stable builds are listed below. If a new version does not work with your setup, you can download and install an earlier build here.
Windows 10 & 11 · 64-bit
We recommend running the latest version for the latest bank coverage and fixes. Installing a new build over an existing one keeps your settings, so there is no need to uninstall first.
FAQ
Before you download
Does my data get sent to your servers?
No. The desktop app processes everything on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored. Uploading only happens if you deliberately switch to the separate web version, and even then those files are encrypted and auto-deleted within 24 hours.
Does the desktop app work on Mac?
The desktop app runs on Windows 10 and 11 only. On a Mac, Chromebook, or Linux, use the web version instead. Same clean CSV, nothing to install. If a native Mac app would matter to you, email support@docubrew.com and let us know. It helps us prioritize what we build next.
What's the difference between the desktop app and the web version?
The desktop app runs entirely on your machine. Files never leave. No internet required, and no page limits on the Pro and Business plans. The web version runs in any browser. That's the option if you're away from your usual desk or working on a Mac. Files are encrypted and deleted within 24 hours. Same CSV output either way.
Can I convert years of old statements at once?
Yes. Point it at a whole folder of PDFs, one statement or three years of them, and it converts everything in one run, then exports as a single batch. This is exactly the job it's built for: catching up a new client, or finally clearing out an old pile of statements.
Will the CSV import into QuickBooks or Xero?
Yes. The CSV output is formatted for direct import into QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, and most other accounting software that accepts CSV bank transaction files.
What if my bank isn't on the list?
Docubrew has dedicated profiles for many banks such as Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, US Bank, PNC, Truist, Capital One, TD, and Fifth Third, and a smart fallback parser for many bank formats.
If a statement doesn't come out right, use "Report" feature in the app. We'll add support for that format and convert that statement for you at no charge, and we delete it once it's done.
Is this a one-time purchase or a subscription?
You can try the Windows desktop app free, with no signup. Convert your first pages right on your own PC and see exactly how it works. Beyond that, it's a subscription with no time-limited trial. Create a free account for a larger cloud allowance, or go Pro or Business for unlimited PDF bank statement conversion on your desktop.
Is it safe to install past the Windows SmartScreen warning?
Yes. Windows sometimes shows a SmartScreen notice for newer installers it hasn't seen many times yet, which is expected for a recently released app. To continue, click More info, then Run anyway. If anything looks off, email support@docubrew.com before installing.
How do I update to the latest version?
Docubrew updates automatically. If you're connected to the internet, when a new version is available, the app lets you know, and you just click Update and follow the instructions to finish. Your settings are kept, so there's nothing else to set up. You can also download the newest installer from the top of this page and run it over your existing copy. Two earlier stable builds are available under App version downloads if you ever need to roll back.
Does uninstalling Docubrew delete my converted files?
No. Uninstalling removes only the application. Your original bank statement PDF files and your converted or exported files stay untouched. Docubrew doesn't store your statements anywhere else, so there's nothing extra to clean up.
Removing the app also doesn't cancel a paid subscription, which you can manage in your account.
